savvycat was launched in 2009 with the aim of being a site based around kitty things related to or purchasable in Australia and New Zealand – at the time, there was nothing else like it. A rise in popularity and a heavy posting schedule led to the site being put on hiatus while work and life got in the way. Eventually I re-opened savvycat, but due to a lack of time and resources, it just wasn’t the same.

In 2011 savvycat became ‘savvycat snippets’. Essentially, it’s now a place for me to share all of the cat related things I come across with fellow cat-people. The ‘old’ savvycat content is still accessible through the archives for your entertainment.

A few months in to 2011 savvycat snippets was put on hold as life got in the way. Again.
