Because really, something that requires thought and proof reading is a little bit difficult on a Sunday. I present you with…. a cat breastfeeding a squirrel. And a kitten cuddling a squirrel. Oh yes.

And now for a question – does your cat have a thing for celery like Elvis?
I’ve never heard of this before, but have now added ‘celery’ to the grocery list to test it on Train.
I hope your Sunday was lovey and lazy.

I tried celery on my cats a while ago, and they think it is evil.

One of my cats likes vanilla cake. Won’t touch any other sort of cake… :P

Yes! My parents’ cat is CRAZY for celery. A few years back, my mom was unloading groceries from the car and came inside to see Oreo with his halfway inside one of the bags rolling around in the celery. He’s also tried to sneak into the refrigerator if there’s celery on the shelves. I don’t think he eats it, though. Just rolls around in it and rubs his face in it.
I think it had to be full stalks with the leaves and everything, though. I haven’t ever had them at my apartment, so I don’t know the effect on my own cat. And I don’t know if my parents have had any celery out since they got a second kitty.

Lis – I think that Train might react like your cats. She has a way of hating something every other cat loves.
Nadine – Vanilla cake?! That must be awfully disappointing for you if you leave it out by accident ;)
Katie – Maybe it has the same effect as cat mint? Some kind of happy kitty feelings.
my cats love celery! they play with it before eating it. Bye from Italy!
