Million Purrs is on again!

by savvycat on March 17, 2010

I was expecting to get an email when it started, but apparently the RSPCA’s Million Purrs has been open since February 15! Supported this year by comedian Wil Anderson, Million Purrs is the feline version of the Million Paws Walk, but to join in your cat doesn’t have to leave the house. Million Purrs is a virtual world where you can create a cat avatar, upload a photo of your feline friend and start raising money for the RSPCA.

In 2009 I signed up and raised around $75 for the RSPCA (I think!). I’ve signed up again this year will be raising money for them up until it closes in May (to coincide with the Million Paws Walk). The functionality hasn’t changed too much, but it still remains a very worthwhile cause.

Sign up now or head over and sponsor me (and Train!).

Already signed up? Put your link in the comments so we can share the love around :)

How do you actually pay for a donation? Is it Paypal or something like that?

Hi Jessica,
From what I can see, it’s just a credit card payment.
