When Train turned her nose up at the PolaPurrs, I offered them to four readers and their kitties to see if they’d be appreciated in another household. Here are the first two reader reviews.
Amy, owner of Sparky:

“I was a little surprised at how big and how hard they were. I guess I’m used to the smaller kind of treats (Sparky likes Greenies) But as soon as I set one down Sparky was interested. He batted it around a little bit but then realised it smelled yummy and got to work.

It took him a good few minutes to get through one, which I liked. So many treats are just wolfed down in this house. And he really had work at it, so I’m sure that’s good for his teeth. He’s getting older so I’m always looking for ways to keep his aging teeth clean.

Would I buy them? Yeah, probably. He really liked them. I like that they are all natural and Aussie made. And unlike a lot of roo treats they weren’t smelly.

Bec, owner of Matty:

“I had barely pulled one of the PolaPurrs treats from the bag and put it on the floor before she was all over it. Nothing could distract or dissuade her from chomping down the treat (as you can see, I could barely get a photo of it whole!).

I later put half a treat in one of her chewy toys (can’t remember the brand, but it normally has a little sac of catnip that slots into the toy – she hasn’t been especially interested in that). She played and chewed and rolled around with the toy for ages. So I’d say the treats are a hit!”

Thanks Amy and Bec for your reviews and photos! I’m glad that the treats were enjoyed by your kitties… and it sounds like Train missed out on something good!
I’ll be posting the other review later on in the week.

That’s a great set of photos:) I’m glad Amy mentioned that they seemed good for teeth. I’ve been looking for extra ways to try and keep Fui’s teeth clean as he hates the toothbrush so much, so I’ll look into these:)
