There’s more than a few kitty things happening this week, so instead of making them individual posts, I’d thought I’d do a cat-related event round up. If there are enough events, I’ll try post one every Monday.

Seminars will be held in our upstairs cattery at 103 Enmore Road, Newtown (opposite the Enmore Theatre). All seminars commence at 1.30pm and will run for approximately 45 minutes including time for questions.

Event: 2009 Pet Fair

Apart from the free entertainment, there will be a number of special attractions:
- Pet counselling – for pets with animal behaviour problems,
- a wildlife and exotic pet display as well as other pet health and information stalls,
- free pet health checks (bring along any type of animal) by senior veterinary students (under supervision) and
- a variety of pet owner and animal-oriented entertainment.
Throughout the day there will be hospital tours, NSW Police Dog Unit demonstrations and this time a fantastic cat show including 15 different breeds. We also have a jumping castle, a face painter and even a celebrity vet at the fair.
