PretaPawte was the second handmade love feature I posted. I was so taken with the designs and quality I wanted to purchase one straight away… but really couldn’t justify it at the time. When Mr. J mentioned that Train’s collar wasn’t looking that great anymore I jumped at the opportunity to grab one of my favourites from PretaPawte.
Train looks sooo pretty in her new collar – and I’m sure she knows it by the way she’s walking around. We added our new tag onto it before we clipped it on, too.
Of course, it was fun and games trying to get the old one off and the new one on, but now it’s on she’s walking around quite happily. Just don’t ask how many photos I had to take to get one where the collar was visible!
The collar was shipped quickly and I am so pleased with the quality. You can tell a lot of thought has gone into the design and making of it. This is the reason I love handmade things over bulk manufactured – the person making it actually cares about how it ends up.
There’s a difference between the old and new bells – the new one is much quieter. I’m not sure if this is a good thing or not – I do like having advance notice on when she’s eyeballing my feet for noms. ;)
