Pet Pamper ID Tags.
I’ve ordered a new collar for Train (from the ever talented PretaPawte) and thought it was time she had an ID tag as well. Train is an inside cat and is microchipped. Getting an ID tag for her has been one of those things that I keep meaning to do but never got around to. Well, until now.
A couple of days before I decided on my PretaPawte collar design I was browsing a couple of pet sites and came across Pet Pamper. Pet Pamper are an Australian company (based in Queensland) that specialise in ID tags for pets. Their tags are made from light weight aluminum and they print the image directly onto the metal.
Seeing as I didn’t have to get up from my chair (laziness for the win!) I decided to give them a go.
You choose your tag’s shape, the background design, the font and if you want, an image to go under your pets name. While everything was straight forward and easy to use, the one criticism I have of their system is that you couldn’t see what your text looked like in a certain font. I ended up guessing and hoping for the best.
The tags are $11.95 each, and they do not charge for shipping. I placed my order on Monday night and received it on Friday, which is a fast turn around considering it is a custom order.

Overall, I am happy with the tag. The text on the back (our contact details) is a little on the blurry side, but I think that is more to do with the resizing of the text to fit the small size of the tag than the printing.
I’ll take more photos when we have the new collar :)
