Cat years to human years.

by savvycat on July 30, 2009

Have you ever wondered what your cats age really is? I mean, I haven’t really put much thought into it. I figured a year is a year and that was that, but apparently not. According to A Cat Years Calculator:

To convert cat age to an equivalent human age, an accepted method is to add 15 years for the first year of life. Then add 10 years for the second year of life. After that, add 4 years for every cat year. This means that by year two, a cat has matured to about the same as a 25 year old human.

But why try all that maths when there’s a handy gadget to do all the thinking?

Apparently Train is older than me! She certainly doesn’t act it.

It makes Fui and Suey older than me, too. Looks like it’s time for them to help out more around the house!:)
