Nut and Bee has to be my favourite place for, well, cute things. I have at least eight Nut and Bee illustrations hanging on our walls, not to mention the stickers and notepads.
Annette M. Russell is an incredibly talented New Zealand based artist. She regularly updates Nut and Bee with ‘sketchbook sweeties’ – whimsical illustrations with no rhyme or reason. Raccoons having afternoon tea, angry asparagus and dinosaurs eating fairly floss are all normal in this world. All of her sketchbook sweeties are available for sale, along with a number of other items based around the characters created – stickers, buttons, magnets, lettersets and more.
To celebrate the awesomeness that is Nut and Bee, savvycat is giving you the chance to win a 4 x 6″ kitty based sketchbook sweetie. Three lucky readers will win one of the following three designs.

Magnolia Snooze

Cat in a Box

Sleepy Reader
Nut and Bee’s prints are printed on smooth 160gsm matte paper with archival inks and signed in the bottom left corner.
To enter, leave a comment on this post letting us know which print above is your favourite. Comments must be posted by 5:00 PM (AEST) Saturday 23rd May.

Ooooh … I love Nut and Bee stuff, so count me in :D
SO hard to pick a favourite, but I love ‘Sleepy Reader’.
I love the Cat in a Box! Nut and Bee is so great! I already have one print and would love another!
I love Nut & Bee products, I bought a badge when Annette first started up and I remember being so excited the first time I saw someone I didn’t know wearing Nut & Bee!
Magnolia Snooze is my favourite print, magnolias are my favourite tree.
Sleepy reader – I’m called Cat, and it’s the most like me!
It is so so hard to pick a favourite but as an avid reader, Sleepy Reader it is :)
I love Magnolia Snooze!
Oh, I love Magnolia Snooze. I can’t imagine anything happier than combining magnolias and a sleepy cat.
Being an English teacher (and a lover of cats) I would definitely have to say Sleepy Reader is my fave!
Magnolia Snooze!
I love Annette’s site, I’m an avid follower :)
Given that I handed in my dissertation yesterday and have an almost identical stack of books (minus kitty!) sitting in the middle of my room left over from it, I feel like I really ought to say Sleepy Reader – but Magnolia Snooze tops even that, it’s so summery! Bring on the summer!!
Wow these are so lovely *goes to check out their website*
I like the Cat in a Box one the best ^_^
What could be better than a cat in a box? Cat in a Box actually reminds me of the book “My Cat Likes to Hide in Boxes” which I remember doing a classroom excercise about in grade one. We had to write out own versions “[The cat from Spain]… dances in the rain” which my mum brought out for my 21st birthday and read in front of my friends and family members.
I love them all so much but I think Sleepy Reader would have to be my favourite!
Long time nut and bee fan, new savvycat fan. Magnolia snooze is def my fave as I love kitties and magnolias.
Well, being a librarian I’d have to say I love the last one with the books, yay!
My daughter loves ‘Magnolia Snooze’ and I have to agree it’s pretty sweet – although they are all so cute there’s not much to choose between them! Fabulous give-away :)
Magnolia snooze is my favourite. its one of my favorite trees esp when in flower
so cute! i love the first one in the tree!
What a great web site. I have a great old cat (18) He has trouble getting up on things now so I pick him up and put him were he wants. Those prints would look so good in my room, Hey you can come to vist them anythimme you wish :)
Wow, never have seen these before and they’re adorable. Dang I’m in ‘the rest of the world’ so I’m out of the running to get one, so good luck all!
Cat in the Box reminds me of a cat on YouTube called Maru, a Japanese Scottish Fold . . . No, a Scottish Fold in Japan! Google the name or search for the video channel and you’ll see why that cat is one of my MANY favorites!
My fave is the cat in a box! So cute!
My fav would have to be ‘Cat in the box’, it has the same cheeky look & spots as one of our little furbabies :)
Oh they are all sooo cute… but I think Magnolia Snooze… although Sleepy Reader looks like my favourite cat Poppy… so I think I’ll say Sleepy Reader is my favourite.
I just found your blog tonight, through Lifehacker AU. I’m enjoying it – having nine cats I’m a mad cat lady (and I work at RSPCA) so it’s great to find something cat-focused. And it’s Australian!! Yay!
Ordinarily I would say ‘Cat in a Box’, since both of mine actually do love to hide in boxes (or anything vaguely resembling one). But there’s something about ‘Sleepy Reader’ I just can’t go past, it’s gorgeous. Hadn’t heard of Nut and Bee or Annette M. Russell, will have to check them out.
‘Sleepy Reader’ is my favourite. They’re all adorable, but I have a weakness for books. I also have a weakness for cats, so it’s a good combination. Besides, how many times have I had to remove my own dear kitten from the top of the books I’m trying to use for my schoolwork?
