I must say, I absolutely love Etsy. It is the place to buy and sell handmade things online. You can shop locally or globally and there are some amazingly talented people out there.
Today I was searching through Etsy for some local (AU & NZ) kitty things, but have found way too many things to share in the one post. So, each weekend I will be posting about my latest Etsy find/s here for your enjoyment. If you own an Etsy shop, or know of an Etsy shop that has awesome kitty things, let me know in the comments.
My first find is Australian artist Tummy Mountain. His whimsical pieces of art are gorgeous. I was drawn in by his non-kitty related art, but then was quite happy to find I had reason to post about him on savvycat, thanks to his works that include cats — or perhaps the same cat in different adventures.

All images are copyright Tummy Mountain, so no borrowing or reproducing without permission. Prices vary – starting from $14 for a small print, up to $100+ for an original painting. Although the artist is local, all prices are in USD – you’ll find this throughout Etsy, so just make sure you take note of what currency things are being sold in, or you could be in for a surprise. :)
